(July 30, 2018) York, PA – Great Place to Work Institute has honored SpiriTrust Lutheran® with certification as a Great Place to Work. The certification process considered nearly 500 employee surveys from across the entire agency. Great Place to Work, an independent research and consulting firm, evaluated more than 60 elements of team members’ experience on the job. These included employee pride in the organization’s community impact, belief that their work makes a difference, and feeling their work has special meaning. Rankings are based on employees’ experiences, no matter who they are or what they do.
“Simply put, SpiriTrust Lutheran was recognized as a great place to work because of our team members and their dedication to serving our residents, clients and participants,” said Robert L. Rundle, president & CEO. “We scored really high in people feeling they make a difference by what they do here at SpiriTrust Lutheran and that their work has special meaning and isn’t “just a job.” Team members tell me that after joining the team they really feel a sense of purpose to their life and a purpose to help one another. It makes our team members feel good knowing that so many of us share the same purpose.
“Being certified as a great place to work is not the end of our journey, it’s just the beginning, added Rundle. “It gives us a baseline to say, ‘Here’s where we are today.’ It gives us an opportunity to explore areas where we can improve and work as a team to make those improvements.”
