SpiriTrust Lutheran® Home Care & Hospice invites individuals and families to honor a loved one by dedicating a light in support of its Annual Hospice Tree of Light Remembrance. Lights may honor anyone, regardless of whether the person received care from SpiriTrust Lutheran Home Care & Hospice. These gifts of light memorialize a loved one while helping provide hospice care for a family in need.
The annual event began in 2012, with the first tree lighting and reception held in Gettysburg on the grounds of the Lutheran Theological Seminary. In 2013, the hosting of a second Hospice Tree of Light in Chambersburg began.
It is a time to come together to remember and honor those
who were special to us, whom we have lost. By dedicating a light on our Hospice Tree of Light, we celebrate and remember the light our loved ones shared with us. Each light gifted will be lit in memory or honor of a life, a glowing testament of gratitude for their impact on our lives.
Purchase a light on the tree and celebrate the light in your heart. Your gift will not only memorialize your loved one, it will also provide hospice care to another SpiriTrust Lutheran hospice client and family in need. Every day can be especially difficult for those dealing with loss.
During this holiday season please join us in remembering and
celebrating the light our loved ones have left behind.
