Basic Qualification Education/Training: Graduate of certified or accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Must have and maintain current nurse practitioner license in Pennsylvania; must attain and maintain CPR certification and U.S. DEA registration. Skill(s): Speak and understand English; proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communication skills; proficient PC skills; visual and auditory skills; ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, stretch and reach; ability to push, pull and lift items weighing 50 pounds or less; valid driver’s license. Experience: Two (2) years of experience as a nurse practitioner; one year of experience working with a frail or elderly population. * This position requires the employee to travel to the client or participant place of residence to provide care. Individuals in these positions will be assigned to one of our office locations but may actually visit in a specific geographic location - sometimes closer to their home. For example, a staff person may be assigned to Chambersburg as their office but visit primarily in the vicinity of Waynesboro.
